ANGRY CITY BUS DRIVER THREATENS AP STAFFER

An angry city bus driver yesterday threatened an Associated Press photographer who attempted to take a picture of his bus under the new racial integration policy.

Photographer Horace Cort of Atlanta said the driver jumped from the bus, drew back his fist and growled, "If you take my picture, G--d--- you, I'll kill you."

Cort said the driver had no objection to the bus being photographed when he wasn't on it. The incident occurred at a downtown stop several hours after the bus company had ordered its drivers to stop enforcing segregation laws.
